A+ Providers

Have you ever wondered what all those letters after medical professionals’ names mean and whether they represent a certain quality of healthcare you should expect to receive? All A+ Total Care Providers are both MDs and PAs who deliver the same exceptional level of healthcare you deserve.

Explanation of provider credentials

Doctor of Medicine (MD) – An MD has earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited four-year medical school and participated in many more years of residency thereafter. An MD is licensed to practice medicine independently, order tests, diagnose illnesses, write prescriptions and can also provide consult to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Physician Assistant (PA) – A PA operates under an MD’s supervision. Both share responsibility in caring for patients. The physician assistant examines patients and diagnoses illness, documents health history, develops and implements treatment plans, can suture wounds, and provides education and council to patients regarding their health care.
