Direct Billing to Insurance and Simplified Statements

A+ will bill your insurance company directly for A+ Family Care and A Plus Urgent Care services provided. Coverage verification will be made prior to seeing an A+ provider. After your claim has been submitted to your insurance carrier, you should receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company for the services A+ provided. The EOB will list the amounts billed and payments made for services you received, and any remaining balances you might owe.

If you’re an employer, occupational medicine services provided by A+ Urgent Care for your employees will not be billed to the injured worker’s individual insurance, but will be sent directly to your company’s group insurance plan. If you have additional questions about A+ OccMed Care billing, please call the A+ Occupational Healthcare Director, Alonya Wagner, or A+ Administrator, Megan Ayala, at 775-777-7587 or use our online contact form.

Paying Your Bill

When you receive a statement from A+ Total Care, showing the remaining balance you owe, please pay this amount promptly. You can make your payment over the phone by credit card or by mailing your invoice paystub and payment by personal check or supplied credit card information.

We also offer the option to pay your medical bills using our online bill pay patient portal.

It’s important that you carefully review the Explanation of Benefits you receive from your insurance company. If, for some reason, A+ Total Care doesn’t receive payment from your insurance company within a reasonable time, you may be required to pay the balance. If an overpayment was made, you’ll receive a refund from us after settlement with your insurance company.

What Will Your Insurance Plan Cover?

Depending on their insurance coverage, customers may be responsible for paying co-payments, co-insurance or deductibles at the time of service. In addition to your co-insurance and deductible, you’ll typically be responsible for any unpaid amount not covered by insurance. For questions about what your coverage plan covers, speak with your insurance provider directly by calling the phone number on the back of your card.
